Build n8n workflows by chatting.
A Chrome extension that builds, edits and fixes workflows right on the n8n canvas you already have open.
Works in
n8n Cloud and self-hosted
Your AI
Claude your Pro or Max plan
OpenRouter your own key
From an idea to a working workflow
You stay in n8n the whole time. Glenica does the clicking.
- 01
Describe it
Tell Glenica what the workflow should do, in plain language. Attach files or screenshots when that is easier.
- 02
Review the plan
For bigger builds, Glenica proposes a plan section by section, so you can change course before anything is added.
- 03
Watch it build
Nodes, connections and settings appear on your canvas, laid out in tidy groups. Credentials you already saved are attached without their secrets ever being read.
- 04
Run it and fix it
Run the workflow. If a node fails, Glenica reads that run, explains the error and applies the fix.
Made for the n8n editor, not bolted onto it
Changes appear on the canvas you are looking at
No refresh, no reopening the workflow. Glenica works on what is in front of you, including changes you have not saved yet.
Nothing to set up in n8n
No API key, no MCP settings, no switches on each workflow.
Works on the Cloud free trial
Glenica does not rely on the n8n API, which the free trial does not include.
Edit alongside it
Keep working by hand while the AI works. You share the same open canvas.
Fixes come from your real run
Glenica reads each node's result and error from the run you just did, then fetches only the details it needs.
Built to use as few tokens as possible
A light outline first, full detail only when a question actually needs it. That means longer conversations before you hit a usage limit, and lower cost if you bring your own key.
How it differs from MCP servers
Both let an AI build workflows. Glenica works in your editor instead of through n8n's backend.
| Topic | Glenica | MCP servers |
|---|---|---|
| Where changes show up | On the canvas you have open, as each change is made. | Saved to n8n first. Whether an open editor updates depends on the server and your n8n version. |
| Setup inside n8n | None. Install the extension and the companion app. | An n8n API key, or instance MCP switched on and each workflow enabled for it. |
| n8n Cloud free trial | Works. | API-key based servers cannot connect. The n8n API is not available during the free trial. |
| Editing at the same time | Built for it. You and the AI work on the same open canvas. | Some servers refuse updates while the workflow is open for editing. |
| Token use | Built to use as few tokens as possible: a light outline first, full detail only when a question actually needs it. Conversations go further before you hit a usage limit. | 46 tools on n8n's built-in server, and 28 on the most popular community server, loaded up front on every request. |
Your chats go to your AI provider. Not to us.

Pricing detailsQuestions
Do I need an n8n API key?
No. Glenica works inside the n8n editor in your browser, so there is no API key to create and nothing to configure in n8n.
Does it work with self-hosted n8n?
Yes. n8n Cloud works straight away. For self-hosted or local n8n, turn on detection for other sites in the Glenica toolbar popup.
Which AI can I use?
Claude, through your own Claude Pro or Max plan, or the models on OpenRouter with your own key.
Will it change my workflow without me knowing?
Every change happens on the canvas in front of you, so you can review it before you save.
Where do my conversations go?
From your computer straight to your AI provider. Glenica's servers never receive them. See how data flows.
What does it cost?
$10 a month after a 14-day free trial. AI usage counts against your Claude plan, or is billed by OpenRouter.
